THE SQUARE. RETFORD. SIR JOSEPH WHITWORTH'S COMPRESSED FLUID STEEL BARRELS', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and imp. cyl. choke, some pits and bulging, left bore dimension marginal and wall thickness at 19, treble-grip action, border and scroll engraving surrounding naive game scenes of hound and fowl and with engraved decorative side panels,, brushed bright finish, 14 3/8in. pistolgrip stock (minor splits at hand and grip), with horn pistolgrip-cap and including 3/8in. extension and 7/8in. recoil pad, weight 6lb. 3oz., in a Brady canvas case with Gallyon & Sons Ltd. trade plaque
